You can add the “Taylor Swift-Kim Kardashian/Kanye West feud” to a list of things Troian Bellisario doesn’t want anything to do with.
In a new interview with Cosmopolitan, the Pretty Little Liars star was asked whether she was Team Kim or Team Taylor, and she basically chose neither because she has problems with both women.
“I have such an aversion to the Kardashians because I literally don’t understand people’s obsession with them,” she told the magazine. “I don’t want to accept them as our closest thing to a royal family.”
On the other side, Bellisario is “so appalled” by what she calls Swift’s “false feminism.” She said, “It seems like she’s this person who’s like, ‘Sisterhood!’ and then she does nothing but tear down the women that were once her friends.”
So, in the end, the actress would rather choose option C, whatever that is. “So is it possible to just be, like… this is a two-party system that I don’t want to be part of? Can I say that I would choose the Green Party in this?”
Earlier this month, the Keeping up with the Kardashians star posted a series of videos on Snapchat showing her husband, Kanye West, discussing his infamous “Famous” lyric with Swift on the phone. In the video, West recited one part of the line for Swift, leaving out the part calling her a “bitch.” She said she knew the song was “tongue-in-cheek” and appreciated him telling her about it. Swift quickly responded to Kardashian’s videos on Instagram, pointing out she never heard or approved of the line where he refers to her as “that bitch.”
